Born in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Jenelle Roccaforte is an award-winning bassist, composer, recording artist, and musical director with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Music Performance and Production from Berklee College of Music. She leads her own project, Roccadile, and released her debut neo-soul album in 2023 featuring original compositions and some of the finest musicians in New Orleans, and she is also a Grand Prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her composition “Flowers in Bloom.” For this special performance, the Roccaforte Trio will present a tribute set honoring the timeless music and legacy of jazz guitar legends Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, and Pat Metheny, reimagining their iconic works through a fresh, soulful, and contemporary jazz approach.
