Grupo Cañaveral, one of Mexico's most prominent cumbia groups, was founded in 1995. Led by Mr. Humberto Pabón Olivares and his son Emir Pabón (singer-songwriter, producer, and host), the group has reinvented cumbia, enriched it with cross-continental collaborations, and become a representative tropical music group.

The group boasts over 3 billion global streams and more than 10 record certifications (diamond, platinum, and gold) for hits like "The Rosebush Has Thorns" and "I Won't Forgive You." They have collaborated with artists including Lucero, Diego Verdaguer, Belinda, Yuri, Pedro Fernández, and many others.

Grupo Cañaveral continues to tour extensively across Mexico, the United States, Latin America, and Europe, frequently performing to sold-out audiences.
