Hurricanes. Earthquakes. Floods.
Children are literally in the eye of the storm. The Hurricane season has forced the most vulnerable children in the Caribbean into even more danger. Powerful earthquakes in Mexico have toppled buildings. Children’s homes have been destroyed and their schools have been disrupted. UNICEF is responding to catastrophic disasters and storms like Hurricanes Maria and Irma and the earthquakes in Mexico.
We put children first in emergencies, committed to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable kids in the world. In response to a disaster, UNICEF helps ensure that affected children and families can get clean water, that there are safe spaces for children, that education and health services can continue, and that basic humanitarian supplies are distributed.
UNICEF is on the ground across the Caribbean countries devastated by Hurricane Irma with staff and supplies. We also stand prepared to support the needs of children affected by Hurricane Maria and the recent earthquakes in Mexico.
Your gift will help support the needs of children affected by these disasters.
