Peru To The World: Culinary Tasting and Pisco Cocktail will count with the presence of the Celebrity Chef, Bill Yosses, Chef of Presidents George Busch and Barack Obama at White House, also Ambassador of Brand Perú, Chef Flavio Solorzano as our Guest of Honor. Featuring live cooking demonstrations by Top Peruvian Chefs, who will be sampling their best dishes, an exhibit of Peruvian products and International Seminar. Guests will also be entertained with music and dance shows.
Peru to the World: Culinary Tasting and Pisco Cocktail celebrates the diverse Peruvian cuisine and the creativity of Peruvian chefs in the United States. Peruvian cuisine came about by virtue of the Inca Empire and other cultural influences brought to Peru by foreigners. Immigrants from Europe (Spanish and Italian cuisine), Asia (Chinese and Japanese cuisine) and West Africa who with ingredients from their home countries, modified their traditional cuisines by using ingredients available in Peru. Peruvian food has evolved over the years to encompass a variety of delectable flavors. The event will be honored with the presence of recognized Peruvian chefs, the participation of local Peruvian restaurants chefs, and vendors who will sample their best dishes and products. The event will include master cooking classes as well as music and dance shows.
