Categoria Pareja Caporales
Competition is open to Dancers belonging or not belonging to any dance group.
First Prize only $500.00
Dancers will be judged by 3 judges of reputation in folkloric dancing.
The scoring system is a 100 point scoring system starting at 90. Decimal numbers are allowed only using .50 increments....
Dancers must be properly dressed in traditional Matching Caporales Costumes.
Choreography will not exceed 4:00 minutes and 30 seconds (including introductions)
Couple identified as female and male only.
Couples must wear traditional Caporales Outfits.
Couples will be judged on the following criteria.
1-Style and Grace
2-Accuracy and Coordination of Choreography with music.
3-Innovation.
4-Music Selection
In Case of a tie. Couples with the same score will enter a final dance off using the same scoring system. If a tie remains the remaining groups will split the first prize of $500.00.
