Simba Initiative, nonprofit organization, is hosting Simba Initiative-AMIGA and Friends for a Cause Annual Fundraiser Fashion Show, an exciting fundraising event which features the best clothing from Metairie store: Buckle in Lakeside Mall and local boutiques, lovely models, and local musicians from Greater New Orleans.

Special line up artist performing live from the 80s Freestyle Sounds “TONASIA”!

The event is open to the general public 18+ and will take place at SouthPort Hall, on Saturday the 20th of January, 2024. Doors will open at 8:00 PM business expo and mixer.

Local DJS, dance performers, local singers and an after party celebration.

AMIGA is: awareness, compassion, sensitivity, caring, the beauty of individuality, humanity and most of all, unity.

AMIGA’s initiative will donate spiritual positive cards, bracelets with encouraging words. While patients are waiting to be seen by their doctor, this will remind them they are not alone. AMIGA will have a basket with all types of inspirational items for patients to take an item home. The items will be at the Tulane Cancer Center and other Cancer Centers, Tulane will be the main, the same place the founder of Simba Initiative Non-Profit-AMIGA Scarlett Paniagua was treated. The initiative also helps with essential items to those patients that need help. A basket full of items and a gift card for groceries is placed in the basket.

All proceeds will be used to help with AMIGAs Cancer Awareness Initiative.

The success of this initiative is largely credited to our sponsors and guests that financially support the fundraiser.
