Don Churro Restaurant presents NAZCA in Concert, on Saturday April 9, 2022 at 9:00pm (door opens at 8:30pm)

Grupo Nazca is a local group from Northern Virginia that performs Peruvian music, which is very diverse as it includes valses (waltzes), polka, Afro-Peruvian rhythms such as landó, festejo and zamacueca, huayno, tondero and marineras, incorporating a dance show to make it a more diverse performance.

Nazca is made up of local musicians from Perú, Bolivia and Venezuela: Francisco Vega (from Perú) is the director, lead vocalist and bass player, Gina Elizabeth (Bolivia) is the lead vocalist, Tito Dorante (Venezuela) plays the guitar and Pepe Sevilla (Perú) vocals and plays the cajón.

Nazca performs music by Chabuca Granda, Pepe Vasquez, Cesar Miró, Mario Cavagnaro, Victoria & Nicomedes Santacruz, José Escajadillo and Augusto Polo Campos among other composers.
