Baltimore Salsa Bachata Festival

The Baltimore Salsa Bachata Congress is the premiere event in Maryland. The first Salsa-Bachata Congress on the East Coast held annually on Easter weekend. Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba dancers travel from across the country and all over the world to celebrate and express their passion for music and dance.

At this full weekend event at the Hilton downtown Baltimore, expect world class training, performances, DJs and concerts all under one roof. Over the past seven years the Baltimore Salsa Bachata Congress has elevated and motivated hundreds of dancers, instructors, musicians and attendees, and we are excited to grow and get better every year. The all day, weekend long event includes Dance Workshops, Dance Shows, and DJ’s to expose the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) dance scene to the most motivating instructors and dancers from all over the world. This year the Congress will host not only great talent, but also international shows.

Event Highlights:

– Largest Salsa Bachata event held in the DMV

– Opening Gala Thursday night March 29, 2018

– 4 days / 3 nights of over 40 dance workshops from beginners to advance levels with the world best instructors on Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Cha Cha Cha and more. We are proud to present the best talent from Canada, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Washington DC

– All weekend events take place at the Baltimore Hilton Harbor at 401 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD

– Social party Friday – Sunday from 3-6pm

– Vendors selling dance related products

– Dance until you drop, 3 nights featuring the Salsa, Sensual Bachata, Traditional Bachata, Kizomba/Zouk and party rooms.

-Mexican on the run Taco truck outside from 10PM-4AM

-4 hour Party Bus ride and Flash Mob stop downtown Baltimore Saturday March 31 from 4 PM – 8:30 PM

-Saxchata concert with Neander Lima

– Religious service in celebration of Eastern Sunday held Sunday April 1st at Hotel Mencken Room
